The Fight is Not Over Yet
Even though “Blackout Day” is over, the fight isn’t. A lot of people have been made aware of the issue, but that’s only half the battle. Please, if you really want to stop SOPA/PIPA, call your representative and tell them you don’t support these bills.

Blacked Out
My original plan for today was to blog my heart out in protest of SOPA, but upon logging in, I was offered an opportunity to black out my blog for the rest of the day. This is just a post saying that if you don’t see any more posts from me, I’m blacked out for the remainder of the day and will see you tomorrow.
A Breakdown of What SOPA Could Do if Passed -- PLEASE READ
From time to time, Gizmodo posts articles related to current events pertaining to technology/the Internet. This is probably one of their best works yet. Please take the time to read this post, as it cites why SOPA is bad for a free and open Internet.
The first rule of SOPA is: Don’t talk about anything.

ATTENTION ALL TUMBLR USERS: If you see a post about SOPA, PIPA, or the multitude of web sites blacking out in protest of these bills, reblog them! Merely liking them will not do much in the long run. Liking is a way to show your approval to the poster. Reblogging is a way to spread a message you want to spread. So please, if you’re like me and don’t want SOPA or PIPA to become laws, reblog any and every (preferably every) post you can find to help spread the word.
Way to go Wordpress.
